Free Parent Resource Materials from the State Parent Advisory Council
Midwestern IU IV
state and federal programs
memo
Re: Free Parent Resource Materials from the State Parent Advisory Council
If your district has a Title I monitoring visit scheduled for this year, proof that you shared the attached order form with your Title I parents is a great way to show that you reach out to the families in your schools.
The Title I State Parent Resource Center at Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV maintains a collection of parent resource materials that provides concise and up-todate information on topics that impact children, teenagers, and their families.
Title I parents are welcome to request a single copy of up to ten free booklets that might help them to discuss important issues with their kids. They can simply complete the order form and mail it to us, or your school can collect the requests and send them in one envelope. We will fill the orders and mail them to parents individually.
Sharing the attached newly updated Title I Parent Resource Center Order Form will help you to satisfy Item #8 in the Parent Involvement section of PDE's Title I monitoring instrument. If you prefer to duplicate an unfolded copy of the order form for your parents, you can find it on the SPAC website, www.spac.k12.pa.us. Just click on Parent Resource Center.
Thanks!
