Hi Everyone!
Get those nominations in for the Beacon of Light Award Ceremony -- Special Education Teacher, Paraprofessional ,and Advocate of the year as well as students in k-3, 4-8 and 9-transition age. Click on http://www.philadelphialtf.org/awardform.cfm for the form.
And, make sure to rsvp for our May 17th, end year meeting when we have a special training on progress monitoring and the IEP as easy as A-B-C. Chew and chat from 9:30-10AM Training from 10-12:30 with lunch provided, rsvp to 215-400-5151.
On, Tuesday, May 15th -- make your voice heard and VOTE! Let's make sure the people put in charge our disability friendly. Every vote counts!

Autism Video
Autism Speaks created a music video of the Five for Fighting song, "World", which features images of autistic children and their families.
It is a truly moving video and was the work of Bill Shea.
The band is generously donating $0.49 to Autism Speaks for each time the video is viewed - the funding goes toward research studies to help find a cure.
When you have a moment, please visit the link below to watch the video and pass it along to your friends and family.
They are aiming for 10,000 hits, but hopefully we can help them to surpass this goal.
