Adult Protective Services Update and ACTION Needed
Things are happening with our Adult Protective Services legislation and we need your help to keep moving forward. As you know, we decided to try and have bills introduced in the House and Senate to improve our chances of getting a bill passed this session. Remember though that, to become law, the same bill must pass both chambers. So if a House bill moves out of the House first, we’ll ask on our Senate sponsor and supporters to help move the House bill. And if a Senate bill moves first we’ll count on our House sponsor to help move the Senate bill. For now, there are different actions recommended below for each chamber. If you have questions or comments, contact troth@paonline.com or jbanks@drnpa.org.
